A power struggle unfolded on March 18, 2025, at the Pastor’s residence in Imeko, Ogun State, when VSE Tosho Oshoffa allegedly ordered security personnel to prevent A/M/S/E Adjovi, the former Taskforce Chairman, from entering the premises. Reports indicate that Oshoffa instructed the Pastor’s security team and his personal guards to block Adjovi’s access to the building. Furthermore, he allegedly directed the police to shoot Adjovi if he refused to comply.
According to verified sources, A/M/S/E Adjovi had visited the Pastor’s residence to express his gratitude for the opportunity to serve as Taskforce Chairman and to seek clarification on the responsibilities of the Coordinator role. His intended visit had been publicly disclosed in a 44-minute online video, where he met with other Taskforce members to brief them on recent developments within the organization.
However, the Shepherd of CCC International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos State, reportedly informed the Pastor that Adjovi had leaked classified church information on social media. Additionally, he claimed that Adjovi had insulted and disrespected the Pastor in the same 44-minute video. This move appeared to attempt to turn the Pastor against Adjovi and damage his reputation within the church community.
Upon his arrival in Imeko on March 18, 2025, some church members blocked Adjovi from proceeding further. Facing a direct threat from VSE Tosho Oshoffa, who allegedly warned of his arrest by the police, Adjovi was unable to reach the Pastor’s office in person. As a result, he was forced to send a representative to deliver a letter while he remained in Imeko City.
This incident has further fueled ongoing tensions within the church, raising concerns about power dynamics and leadership conflicts.
