Perfumes In CCC

Rev. E.M.F. Oshoffa: Perfume Must Be Diluted Before Use

The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) has once again emphasized the importance of discipline and order in its worship practices. In a directive issued on May 8, 2021, the Pastor of CCC Worldwide, Reverend Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa (E.M.F. Oshoffa), instructed that the use of raw perfumes on members must be stopped across all parishes.

According to the directive, perfumes should not be applied directly in their raw state on members during church activities. Instead, they must be diluted before use. This instruction was given to ensure uniformity, safety, and adherence to the church’s spiritual guidelines.

At the CCC Isheri Cathedral in Lagos, parishioners and church workers have been reminded of this rule and urged to comply strictly. Members are encouraged to stop using raw perfumes on anyone, whether during prayer sessions, anointing, or any form of spiritual exercise.

The use of perfumes has been a long-standing tradition in the Celestial Church, symbolizing purity, prayers, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. However, the leadership stressed that order and moderation are key in maintaining the sanctity of worship. The move to regulate perfume use reflects the church’s commitment to aligning practices with biblical instructions and established doctrines.

This directive also serves as a reminder of the importance of obedience and respect for church authority. All workers, parishioners, and leaders across parishes are urged to take note and act accordingly.

By following these instructions, the Celestial Church of Christ seeks to preserve unity, enhance spiritual experiences, and uphold the sacredness of worship. Parish leaders are expected to communicate this message clearly to their members to ensure full compliance.
