The esteemed ruler of Imeko, His Royal Majesty, Oba Benjamin Oyeditan Olanite, has responded to the circulating rumor regarding the alleged negotiation between the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and himself for the acquisition of a vast expanse of land in Imeko town.
During a telephone conversation with the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, the traditional ruler of Imeko clarified:
“The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) never approached me to discuss the purchase of hectares of land in Imeko. I am completely unaware of the origin of this rumor. However, I am aware that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Reverend Enoch Adejare Adeboye, will be conducting a Crusade in Imeko on Tuesday, 26th December, 2023. This Crusade will take place at Nazareth High School, Imeko, which has been graciously made available by one of our esteemed sons, Hon. Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka (GNI).”
