It is with great concern that we address the prevailing issue within our Church, where many shepherds tend to prioritize guest Artiste over ministers. This practice is not only fundamentally flawed but also undermines the integrity of the church.
Regrettably, some shepherds even go as far as offering exorbitant honorariums to these guest artiste, while neglecting the ministers who tirelessly bless the lives of our congregation. Such actions are far from commendable.
Recently a shepherd payed a staggering sum of 5 million naira, and possibly more, upon the Fuji artiste Portable. It is undoubtedly disheartening and fails to align with the principles of righteousness that we hold.
As followers of Christ, it is our duty to demonstrate utmost respect and honor towards God’s chosen ministers. shepherds, who are entrusted with guiding and nurturing our spiritual growth, must learn to prioritize and honor these ministers. They are the anointed vessels and mouthpieces of God, through whom His divine message is conveyed.
Let us not forget that our ultimate allegiance lies with the Lord. By valuing and uplifting our ministers, we not only honor God but also foster an environment of spiritual growth and unity within our church. It is imperative that our shepherds recognize the significance of their role in upholding the sanctity of our church and the divine calling of our ministers.
