Prophet Arrested As LASU Graduate’s Body Quadri Olasunkanmi Is Found

Lagos, Nigeria – In a shocking turn of events, the body of Ogunbode Quadri Adedamola Olasunkanmi, a 28-year-old graduate of Political Science from Lagos State University (LASU), has been discovered following police investigations into his disappearance.

Quadri, also known as “Horlas,” was reported missing on January 16, 2025. Recent police operations led to the arrest of Prophet Whepetoji Babaniyeh, the Shepherd-in-Charge of CCC ILERI-OLUWA Parish, LASU 2, PPL, Okokomaiko, Lagos, alongside other suspects. Upon interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed, leading the authorities to the burial site near the church premises.

In further searches by the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti uncovered additional alarming evidence, including a firearm hidden under the altar and an axe.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Task Force has launched its internal investigation into the matter, with indications that more details regarding the involvement of the church leadership and members may soon be revealed.

As the investigation continues, justice for Quadri Adedamola Olasunkanmi and his family remains a top priority.
