The actions of Pastor Keji from the CCC Zion Cathedral church in Lekki area of Lagos is causing problems. Some members want her to leave the church but others want to forgive her.
The Celestial Church of Christ has clear rules for decision making. The founder, Rev. Prophet SBJ Oshoffa, left these rules in the church’s book.
The rules say that to join the church, you must:
1. Leave other churches like secret groups
2. Stop worshiping statues and fetish priests
3. Do not worship Satan
These rules show that the church does not accept fetish things.
In the past, a senior pastor called Baba Jesse was kicked out for not following the rules.
The rules also say church leaders can punish members for not following the rules. But they cannot throw members out of the whole church. Only the founder and trustees can do that.
The rules clearly say we must discipline all members, no matter who they are. Oluso Keji’s video shows her doing fetish things even though she is a pastor. This breaks the church rules.
The shepherd of Keji’s church in Lekki has asked her not to come there anymore. But only the founder and trustees can remove her from the whole Celestial Church of Christ.
The shepherd can talk to the trustees about what to do after following the rules. The most important thing is to correct any problems in a respectful way.
