It’s been over 78 years since the divine birth of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC). Yet,—shockingly—there is still no official fabric factory dedicated to producing Sutana (the sacred white garment worn by members). For a Church with millions of followers across the globe and a deep spiritual heritage, this is a painful truth and a call for reflection.
How have we come this far, building cathedrals, expanding parishes, and growing in numbers, yet failed to invest in one of the most symbolic elements of our faith? The Sutana is more than a uniform—it is a spiritual identity, a symbol of purity, and a visible expression of our covenant with God. Every Celestial member, from Lagos to London, wears it with pride and reverence. So why haven’t we taken the initiative to produce it ourselves?
The absence of a dedicated CCC-owned fabric factory means that members must rely on external vendors, often at high costs and with inconsistent quality. It also means the Church misses out on employment opportunities, skill development, and economic empowerment within the fold.
This is not about assigning blame, but rather igniting a collective vision. We have the land, the manpower, the tailors, and the market—we only lack the unified will to act.
As Celestians, we must begin to think beyond today. We must ask: how are we building sustainability for future generations of worshippers? A CCC-owned Sutana factory isn’t just practical—it’s long overdue.
