Murder Case Of M/S/E Morris Fadehan: CCC Task-force Provide An Update

Murder Case Of M/S/E Morris Fadehan

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, We find ourselves in a challenging time as clergy and members of the Celestial Church of Christ. May God grant us comfort, peace, and love during this period.

We would like to provide an update on the investigation of the murder case involving Most Senior Evangelist Morris Fadehan. Following the arrest and confession of the culprit, Lekan Ogundipe, the case has been transferred to the State Crime Investigation Department (CID). The CID has invited several individuals, including the parish planter, for questioning.

The confession of Lekan Ogundipe remains consistent with what he initially shared with the police. The key points from his confession are as follows:

1. The shepherd, Most Senior Evangelist Morris Fadehan, did not support Lekan Ogundipe in his pursuit of a relationship with Prophetess Mummy Ewa, who had gone into a trance in the church.
2. The shepherd retrieved the church keys from Lekan Ogundipe on Thursday, despite his pleas.
3. The Shepherd threatened to dismiss Lekan Ogundipe as a Levite, which he perceived as a disgrace.
4. Lekan Ogundipe acted alone without any assistance.

VSEv. Firmin AdJovi, the Pastor’s Representative in Osun State, has visited the crime scene and the police station. He also delivered a condolence message from Pastor CCC worldwide, His Eminence Rev. EMF OSHOFFA, to the family of the deceased shepherd and the entire Ife division. VSEv. Firmin AdJovi has pledged support to ensure that the culprit is brought to justice.

We have become aware of certain individuals, such as Mr. Sunday Joseph, soliciting donations for a fundraiser purportedly for the murder case of Most Senior Evangelist Morris Fadehan. We want to clarify that this case is now a matter between the government and Lekan Ogundipe, as the police have been involved from the beginning. The Nigeria Police Force is not requesting funds from anyone, including the family, the church, or the general public. We advise against falling victim to the dubious scheme of Mr. Sunday Joseph.

While we mourn the loss of our beloved friend, let us avoid using this situation for personal gain. Let us abide by the law and be law-abiding in all our dealings. The church authorities remain committed to providing any necessary assistance to the Nigeria Police Force to ensure that justice is served.

Signed,

VSE Firmin AdJovi
Osun State Evangelist

His Eminence Rev. EMF OSHOFFA
