What Is Forbidden To Eat Or Drink As A CCC Member

Saint Papa SBJ Oshoffa, the founder of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), has issued a warning against adding or subtracting from the tenets of the church. He cautions that many individuals are distorting and misinterpreting the teachings.

According to the 1980 Constitution of CCC, there are specific guidelines outlined in paragraphs 93 and 97:

1. Members of CCC are strictly prohibited from engaging in idolatry, fetish ceremonies or cults, black magic, and the use of charms.
2. Smoking or using any form of tobacco, including snuff, as well as consuming any type of weed or substance that can intoxicate, is forbidden.
3. Consumption of alcohol, wine, or any strong drink that can lead to intoxication is strictly prohibited, as the presence of these substances is considered repugnant to the Holy Spirit.
4. Consumption of pork or any food offered as a sacrifice to idols or dark powers is forbidden.
5. Wearing clothing made of black or red materials is not allowed, except for professional reasons.
6. It is forbidden to wear shoes when wearing the religious garment (sutana) or within the church premises.
7. Male and female members are not allowed to sit side by side within the church or its premises.
8. Female members should refrain from entering the altar area or leading the congregation in worship.
9. Female members who are menstruating should not come within the church premises until after seven days of sanctification. If menstruation extends beyond seven days, an additional two days of sanctification should be observed after it stops.
10. Only white candles are permitted for use in CCC; colored candles are strictly prohibited.
11. Fornication and adultery are strictly forbidden within CCC.
12. The Celestial Church of Christ is considered holy, and all worshippers should strive to maintain cleanliness in body and soul.

It is important to note that the only specific food mentioned as forbidden is pork. Consuming food offered to idols is also prohibited. Additionally, the consumption of alcohol, unauthorized drugs, and cigarettes is strictly forbidden.

The CCC emphasizes the need for guidance from the Holy Spirit in thoughts, speech, and hearing. Personal revelations regarding food or any other matter that were not approved by Pastor Founder Samuel Bilehou Joseph Oshoffa should not be generalized or considered as part of the official teachings of CCC. The church urges its members to adhere to the established tenets and seek spiritual guidance to stay on the right path.
