Ile-Ife, Osun State – The Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Rehoboth Family International Cathedral, Ibadan, gathered in solemn remembrance as they laid to rest their beloved Baba Ijo, Late Superior Evangelist Adefiiranye, in a deeply moving burial ceremony. The final rites took place at Oloode Road 7, Ile-Ife, the hometown of the departed prince, who passed away on January 17, 2025.
The funeral procession was led by Most Superior Evangelist Nunayon, alongside the Area Head of Ile-Ife, AVSE Dosu Joseph, VSE Arayemi, and several other shepherds of the CCC. The atmosphere was thick with emotion as mourners paid their last respects to a man who had dedicated his life to the service of God and humanity.
In his heartfelt eulogy, MSE Nunayon reflected on his close relationship with the deceased, describing him as a mentor, spiritual father, and a beacon of faith within the church. VSE Arayemi, himself a prince of Ile-Ife, emphasized the significant impact Late Superior Evangelist Adefiiranye had on the royal family, the community, and the church, highlighting his role as a unifier and an advocate for peace and progress.
The funeral was marked by an outpouring of love from family, church members, and well-wishers, all of whom came to honor the legacy of a man whose faith and leadership had left a lasting imprint. The service was filled with hymns, prayers, and testimonies, celebrating a life well lived in service to God and humanity.
