Representatives from the Nigeria Diocese of the Celestial Church of Christ, led by Reverend Lagun Adesanya, paid a visit to the esteemed Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, at his pastoral residence in Lagos on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
The delegation consisted of Prophet Ade Adekoya, Prophet Vincent Adedoyin, Prophet Tunji Abolade, Prophet Sowole Olukayode, and Prophet Mayowa Adesanya.
The purpose of this visit was to foster unity, peace, and unwavering solidarity within the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Reverend E.M.F. Oshoffa warmly welcomed the Nigerian Diocese delegation, assuring them that the Celestial Church of Christ remains an indivisible entity.
He likened their visit to that of a child gracefully entering their father’s house. His Eminence’s warm reception came without any conditions, and he promised to engage in further discussions with Reverend Lagun Adesanya after the visit.
In turn, the Nigerian Diocese delegation expressed their commitment to returning to the Ketu mainstream of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Ongoing talks are being held in this regard.
The meeting also saw the presence of esteemed individuals such as Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao, Venerable Superior Evangelist Tosho Oshoffa, Venerable Superior Evangelist S.F. Adeniyi, Venerable Superior Evangelist Augustine Olumilade, Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Gouan Barthelemy, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, and Most Senior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa.
